Hi. I had no idea what was wrong with me until a friend told me what it sounded like, so I've done a lot of 'surfing' the 'net since and the descriptions from other sufferers led me to believe I too had an anal fissure. Well, after about a year of this I am SO much better. 3 weeks ago I decided to try Neosporin. The fissure was not far inside. Within a week I was pain free for the first time in a year. I can now go to the bathroom and not dread it and most importantly not yell out in pain. I only used the Neosporin in the morning after my shower and before bed. I did this for one week. I felt better in about 4 days but used the product for a week. All I can say is it worked for me, and I'm forever grateful.
